Double mounts cut by our in-house computerised mountboard cutter using 1400 micron (1.4mm) thick mountboard with a 45 degree bevel on the inner edge. All of our picture mounts are either Whitecore or Conservation grade mountboard, not to be confused with the cheaper cream core mountboard widely available on line.  100% Conservation White Core mountboard doesn’t discolour with age and is bleed resistant, the pure white bevel stays white. Buffered with Calcium Carbonate to a pH of 7.5 to 9.5. Where the conservation grade is not available in the colour you require, then Colourmount White Core mountboard is used, which although it does not meet the Fine Art Trade Guild conservation requirements, it still provides a quality product and has Lignin free face papers, core, and backing paper.
